Jun. 8th, 2007 06:02 pmme: walking to the bus stop this afternoon I was nearly blown off my feet trying to give tech advice to ma on the mobile while crossing Hyde Park
"Ma! I'm in a hurricane! now write this down ... "
the landscape: completely littered with the carcasses of dead umbrellas, broken and bent, stuffed into bins, abandoned in gutters, tossed away in soggy anger ...
others: a lolly-long-legged Chadwick's model picking her way down Liverpool street clutching at her teeny checked skirt to stop it blowing up above the top of her thighs (where it ended). How did I know she was a model? the physique - all long hair and looong legs, from Chadwicks? her tote bag said so (it was nearly bigger than her torso). she was only wearing a singy top and a v light cardi so must have been very chanked to have to walk amoungst the general public to get to her next appt, however she was very carfully practising her distainful look like that used on the catwalk. ("I'm above all you You")
oh and I'm wearing a beret outside as the wnd is evilly cold
